The communal outside parts of the estate is owned by a management company and outsource general maintenance to LSH.

Upkeep of communal parts of Cann Lilly flats is the responsibility of the building owner, Vivid Homes.

No. Rosemead Park (the field on the other side of the cycle track) is owned and maintained by Littlehampton Town Council.

There are a limited number of visitors parking bays.

No. Parking outside of allotted bays is not allowed. Primarily because it blocks access to peoples bays.

Large commercial vehicles are not allowed on the estate unless they are delivering goods or being used for work being done on the estate/homes.

General (black) Bin: Every 2 Week

Recycling & general bins collections alternate each week.

Houses: Bins must be stored in your property/back garden other than on collection days.

Cann Lilly Apartments: There are communal bins by the bike shed

Arun district council provide each house with the following:
– 180 litre general rubbish bin
– 240 litre recycling bin
– 23 litre outdoor food bin (from April 2026)
– 5 litre indoor food bin (from April 2026)

Apartments will have large communal bins.

If any bins are missing you can contact the council for a replacement.

Cooked and uncooked food waste can be recycled using the service, including:  

• mouldy and out-of-date food
• meat – including bones

• dairy products such as cheese and yoghurt 
• cooked and uncooked vegetables and fruit including peelings 
• bread, cakes and pastries

Recyclables collected need to be

Clean – free from food and drink leftovers
Dry – keep your recycling bin lid shut
Loose – not in plastic bags
Squashed – to save space in your bin cardboard boxes and squash bottles (then reattach the lid).

Arun District Council offer a garden waste collection service for a fee via The Green Waste Club.

Garden waste is also accepted at the local recycling centre.

Alternatively you can compost it to make natural fertiliser for your garden. West Sussex Council offer subsidised compost bins (Blackwall 220/330 Litre Black Compost Converter) when you enter your postcode at getcomposting.com.

Virgin Media operates on its own separate cable network, which isn’t installed on the estate, so their services aren’t available here.

BT and many other providers use infrastructure provided by Openreach. However, as the Openreach network isn’t installed on the estate, these providers aren’t available here.

The estate is fully connected with high-speed full fibre broadband provided by OFNL (Open Fibre Networks Limited).

This means you’ll need to choose an internet provider that operates on the OFNL network. There are several providers to choose from, offering a range of packages to suit different needs.

There’s no need to install your own satellite dish or TV aerial, as the estate is already fully equipped with a communal system for all residents.
